I am getting a Sony VAIO z from US. Could I purchase accidental warranty for it in Canada so that it could be repaired in Canada if something happens to it. or should I have to purchase it from US.

Also, is warranty purchased from provantage.com is same as warranty purchased from sonystyle.com along with your computer.

You can purchase a Sony extended warranty for your new Vaio Z notebook & register it if the notebook is bought within 30 days from SonyStyle or an authorized Sony dealer/reseller. :) Unfortunately, you'll not be able to purchase a non-USA Sony extended warranty for a Sony Vaio notebook bought in the USA market. :(

The Sony extended warranty bought from provantage.com is the same warranty as the ones purchased from sonystyle.com. These extended warranties are all handled by a company called Service Net Solutions, LLC.

    Good luck. :)
