Both myself and my colleague have identical Z13 laptops ordered for work (apart from colour), and we're both experiencing the same issue: more often than not, if I leave my VAIO plugged in all day or all night it simply won't charge the battery any further.

For example, I left it switched off overnight last night plugged into the genuine Sony charger and when I went to sleep power was at 37%, and when I woke up it was at 38% (which may be fluke). That's a good 7 hours charging.

Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have any suggestions?

In Windows, when it's plugged in, does it say, "plugged in, not charging"?

The Vaio S line has a issue with charging. Solution D/l the new BIOS for the machines on the Sony website. WOuldn't be surprised if the same exists for the Z.
