Hey guys!
I can get my hands on a VAIO Z13, but there are a few things I'm wondering about...
It has no optical drive. It's the good old budget model. It also doesn't have an SSD but it has a normal mechanical 5400RPM HDD.
Now I'm wondering, this HDD, is it placed where the DVD drive used to be, or is it actually placed where the SSD was before? If it's located at the DVD drive that automatically means I can't put in a DVD drive myself...
Any other thoughts on getting one of these? Think it's worth it for 1000-ish?
Intel® Core i5 560M, 2.66GHz
4 gigs of RAM
1600x900 display
GT 330M 1GB
320GB 5400rpm HDD
everything else like every Z
Thanks!

You're right - the HDD sits where the ODD is supposed to be. To put in an ODD you'll have to dump the HDD, put in SSD's (not easy; you need a special connector) and then put in the ODD. Better just get an external USB ODD.

Sony VAIO Z13 without ODD but with an oldschool HDD.
