sorry if there has been a thread for this but i didnt see it from searching. i have a sony vaio model vpceb490x with a lcd resolution 1366x768, i bought it with the upgraded ati 5650 video card. i was wondering if it was possible to buy a plug n play replacement lcd with a res of 1920x1080. i bought a full hd lcd but after plugging it in the lcd backlight lights up but no pictures, so i reinstalled the old lcd and it works normally. is there a setting i need to have done for the sony to see a new lcd screen? ty ahead of time for any help.

They say "or you can contact us for help." Did you try ask them about extra steps/parts for the diffferent resolution screen?
