    Hi guys..

I'm new here. Sorry if this thread already created, but I didn't find any thread like this before.

I would like to buy new Z series, maybe Z12 or Z13. Z12 could come first in my country rather than Z13.

    My specs for laptop that I looking for;
    1. Powerfull (Intel Core i5 or i7)
    2. Great performance and fast (with SSD)
    3. Light = ultraportable
    4. Stylish
    5. Budget below 2.5k
    6. 13 inchs
    7. Last for 3-5 years

So, I have found that new Z series is great. I like to have Windows 7 in my laptop because I love to use it. I need a great performance laptop because I like to doing my jobs faster even play game likes Football Manager and Counter Strike also Crysis. So, I just to know who already have this new Z series especially Z12 and Z13, can give their opinion about this laptop including problmes.

I have read so many reviews about this laptop. Someone give the benefit and someone come out with problems. Can you guys help me and share your experience with this laptop. Is it great just for 4 weeks or you all satisfied with this new Z series? Is it true that Sony VAIO is not good enough compared to other brands?

Sorry guys, my English not good enough. Help me.

    Thanks. :)

One con of the few that I have.
i do not think the durability of this machine will enable it to last3-5 years. The dvd drive for instance seems very fragile, it would of been been better to have a slot loading one like in the mbp. Of course, if you leave it locked in a safe and never use it will last, but not with typical everyday use.
I think the MBP has sony beat on this one.

I don't believe they don't make slot loaders thin enough for the Z. One of the many reasons the mbp is thicker and heavier.

Show me a slot loader that's as thin as the optical drive in the z.

How about the wearing out plastic palm rests on Z11/12. I'm not sure how common that is anymore, but I've seen some pretty bad picture.

My Z12's palm rest is perfect after 2 months of very light use so far.

Google is my friend, too...you're right :) Interesting they didn't use that for our dvd models.
