Hi all. I technically have 3 laptops, my third is not to be confused with the one in my sig and is a Sony VAIO VGN-AX570G (17inch) series from about 5 years ago. It has performed flawlessly over the past five years however just recently in the D.C IN power socket one of the metal prongs has snapped off, which means my power cord plug can no longer make a direct electrical connection and can no longer power on my laptop or charge the battery to use battery power. I have about 5 GB worth of music and would very much like to get this computer working again! If anyone has suggestions, I.E. if external battery chargers for this laptop exist so I can charge the battery, put it back into the laptop and repeat process and use my laptop that way or if I need to send it in for a more major repair?
