Hi guys, I just want to make a list of VAIO notebooks found in movies. Let's share some information on what movies our VAIO appeared in such movie. I can't seem to find a list so let's create one.

If you can't figure out the model, just put (unknown model) to it. At least it's still a VAIO.

    Ok, I'll start.

    1. James Bond 007 - Sony VAIO T007
    2. FireStarter Rekindled - Sony VAIO (unknown model)
    3. Stealth - Sony VAIO (unknown model)
    4. Charlie's Angels - (unknown model)
    5. Underworld - (unknown model)

Now, you have to follow the numbering so we can count the number of movies. Ok, go. :)

Does anybody know the name of the movie where Vaio T is in ?

I just remember one scene when guy pulls Vaio T from the back, behind the shirt and inside the pants, looks something (some plans or similar) and returning it back behind the shirt inside the pants. :)

Can anyone get a screen cap(preferable from the bluray print) of Bond using the SZ in Casino Royale? That should make a cool wallpaper!

Funny. Was in my Sony Centre Shop yesterday watching that on their new Blu-Ray player and just caught a glimpse and I thought - is that a SZ?

And you just confirmed my thought :)! :D

    Ok, here's another one:

    - VAIO (unknown model)
    - Naked Weapon (Starring the agent girl with Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible III). I don't know if it was released in other country. It's English by the way. I say, better and more realistic than charlie's angels. :)

Here's another long use and fully exposed VAIO from a movie: :D

The umbrella corporation invented a virus that infected everyone in racoon city. the vaio is being used by this umbrella corporation scientist on a wheel chair searching for the area of racoon city for his daughter through public online cams.

    Movie Title: Resident Evil (Apocalypse)
    The model: VAIO Z1

i think that laptop is not a SZ. It's a sony GRT390 series. it has very thick LCD and as big as a VAIO GRT.

Bond utilize the SZ at the Bahamas beach while searching for the ahh... goons. while using his boss' login credentials. lol. :D and at the movie ending.

that VAIO is a GRT series. There were many of the VAIO models appeared in the movie. Including the VAIO with 17" widescreen XP equipped used by the bad ones at the beginning of the movie.

I'll add up this VAIO in another movie:

    Tomb Raider Part 1
    Being used by Lara's assistant
VAIO S/T Series - Location: Russia Dead zone shoot,
    Starring Angelina Jolie (Lara Croft).

At the movie Next with Nicolas Cage there is a vaio.

Not sure where you guys see the SZ, but Bond uses the TX model, the 11.1" ultraportable. They even have the 007 edition with the attache case with the TX that cost $4k.

Not unless Daniel Craig is only 5'-1" tall...

In the second pic you can see the SZ's ExpressCard slot in the upper-rear right side which the TX doesn't have.

This one was shown every 5 seconds in the movie, kind of got redundant.

    LOL
my mistake. I guess since I saw the movie AFTER the whole 007 edition TX came out, I just assumed he used a TX, esp when it looks kinda small in his hands, but then again, he's not as small as Brosnan.

Any of you remember when Leshiff was on his ship playing poker with the guy and a woman and his guard pulled him away and he was looking at a new clip on a laptop viewing a photo of 007 blowing up an embasy? was that a sz also? it looked mighty small.

almost any movie from sony pictures hosts sony CE and sony ericsson products.
james bond had a ton of SE cellphones, and i remember the scene from the security room from the hotel in james bond was FILLED with bravia lcd's and blu-ray players, which is RIDICULOUS. also, everyone was using sony ericsson cells.

i agree. but some films, e.g.: Naked Weapon, Tomb Raider 1, DOA (Dead or Alive) are not Sony films. I remember Tomb Raider 2 used Panasonic Toughbooks too by the way.

Anyway, i'm still up and hunting for Sony notebook/pc sponsored films. there are too many, but cant remember the titles. :D
