I bought this laptop before christmas and the dam cheap thing won't boot i read on here how to recover by pressing F10. But its asking for a password?

Will it be a standard sony password?

I emailed the guy I bought it off and he doesn't know about it, he didn't change anything. But when I got it I did a clean install of XP Prof, would this of changed it.
