    I am going to change my Acer...and will buy a Sony FS315S, here s the specs;

    Good choice, a have an FS-395VP, with a slightly slower proc and 1/2 memory. Still a wonderful performer (I do vector graphics, photo editing and VST music) very good construction, excellent screen and very quiet. The optical drive makes a sound, but it is deadly fast as well.

    Just ask if there's anything special you'd like to know.

    I don't know if you bought this but, be careful about the 4200 rpm. You should seriously consider upgrading it.

    On the other hand, did you consider the S series? I owned an FS but gave it to my sister just because it was too bulky and bought an S.
