Ok, the laptop wont turn on, plug-in charger light is green and normal, no lights turn on, on the laptop like it should, tried battery by itself, with cord, cord standalone. But nothing works, now this has happened before, but I took it to my networking teacher and he said something about the charger or battery i forget, any way, im pretty sure its nothing internal. I sort of remember him saying he used a different battery or charger?? I know this is a simple solution but i dont know. Should I buy a standalone battery charger or what. Thanks.

This actually happened within the first week I got mine brand new right out of the box. Of course, that was about a year and a half ago, but it was a VGN FE880E. It happened about twice and then never happened again, and it was fully charged.
