Hey all! I was just wondering if anyone came accross this same problem:
I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FS720/W, about 1 month old and the LCD screen is starting to do a QUICK (comes accross the screen for approx half a second) flicker intermittently near the bottom of the screen. This happens when running on battery and being plugged in, also there is NO different color tinting on the screen, nor dimness of the screen -> just the annoying flickering which is just intermittent.

I am wondering what the problem could be (either hardware or software), and what could I do to fix it???

What exactly do you mean? The LCD goes on and off quickly or what?
Sounds like your Video Drivers might be "unstable".
