Sometimes When I open the lid to turn on my computer the LCD light at the back of the screen doesn't turn and I have wiggle the lid back and forth to get it running again.

How can I fix this problem???

Thanks for all of your help!!!!!

Sounds like there's a problem with the switch connected to the lid, or it's connections. It's probably easy to fix, but you'd have to open it up. If you don't want to lose your warranty i'd check with Sony first if thats allowed. Probably not, and you'll have to send it in for repair.

That's impossible to say with out opening up, you'd have to check a few things. Maybe the switch just didn't fall in place like it should or has a lose wire, but maybe it's broken and it has to be replaced. Or the little thing that operates the switch when you close or open the lid is damaged (i don't know the proper name for it in english, sorry). There could also just be some grease on the connectors that prevents a good connection. If it works fine now i'd just keep an eye on for a while, if it comes back or gets worse you can always check it out or send it in.
