This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Sony VGN-NR120E volume/brightness not working.

    I might have uninstalled something, but now when I hit the function button and the brightness, it doesn't change anything. Normally a graphic would show up on screen that showed it being lowered and highered, but it doesn't work now at all. It won't go brighter or lower and the graph never shows up. Also, the volume graph doesn't show up either but the volume does work using the function button.

    Anyway, does anyone know what I uninstalled or what I need to install for it to work properly again? Thank you! :D
