    Please help!!!
After having closed the screen of my sony VGN-S4HP which turn it in stand-by mode, when I get back to my session using a WiFi connection I get access to internet but can't brows and can't get access to any web page...
I'd like to know if I'm the only one getting mad of having to restart my laptop to be able to get on internet and if there is a solution somewhere...
    Thanks!

Check esupport.sony.com for any updates for your model. And for the future, the VGN-S4HP isn't a good designation for your model. If you look at the lower edge of your notebook scree, you'll see it say something like VGN-BX565B or VGN-SZ120P/B and that is what model of notebook you have.

I thnk someone had similiar issues a while back, try a search on the forum. Have you tried switching the Wifi off and back on using the switch on your notebook?

@nixon: What do you mean?? VGN-S4HP is the exact description of the model. Not all laptops Sony has built where called SZ-xx..

Bomfunk, I forget that sometimes that short name is used in Europe for certian models. I've run into a lot of people here in the States calling their notebooks by a number they've gotten off of the bottom of their machine - like for the SZ140 - PCG-4J2L or something along those lines. That's what I thought he had done, but I'm now realizing that he just had an S series notebook.

    Any luck aslan?
