I've been having some trouble with the sound on my computer and am starting to think it might be a hardware problem. Is there a way to determine if it is indeed a hardware failure?
I did a clean install of Vista and had working sound, then I installed the bluetooth app and paired my headset to it. Since then, I haven't had any sound. I reinstalled all drivers, and still could not get any sound out of the computer (speakers or headset). I just did another clean install, and still have no sound. All drivers are installed, and it looks like everything is intalled correctly, but I just can't get any sound.
    Help?

try booting an Ubuntu live cd and see if you have sound. I have sound on my TZ when I boot Unbuntu live.
