    Dear All

We have a Sony laptop with dual monitors and I have setup 2 hardware profiles on the laptop (docked and undocked). What is happening is that we have a matrox box in the middle for dual screens setup when the laptop is docked.

The issue is, when I dock the laptop, it does not cleanly split the dual monitors as one screen across 2. I have to manually change this setting on the matrox software and the intel card.

If I undock and then redock, it loses the settings. Basically I just want my director to dock when in the office and the dual screens to come live. When he undocks and logs in, it should be fine. Then if he wants to dock again, it knows from the hardware profile that the dual screens are there and they kick in.

Can anyone please help? I have spoken to Sony (who just do not want to know, as well as Matrox and Intel and I am getting no answers, each blaming each other).

    Thanks
