    hey guys,

I own a VGNZ890FKB laptop and I was wondering where does the air come into the laptop to cool it down? I know it expels the air on the left hand side through the grill.

Also it is quite dusty in my room and my laptop is starting to run hot with the hot weather, and I was wondering how to take out the dust? (without opening it)

I have the VPC-Z11, assuming it's almost the same...

From keyboard (top) and various airflow entry points below.

The fan is really really effecient in the Z.

I think the airflow begins through the upper surface of the hard disk, i.e. the left hand side of the memory stick reader slot. This design is good for mechanical hard drives and not necessary for SSD models.

If you check on the front-left of laptop, there is a set of intakes under the ledge.

As ZugZug said, and in addition, the $*#?&! cover for the docking station opens itself, and changes the airflow.
