    Hi,

My Sony VGN-Z11VN is now due a SSD Upgrade and it's started to run very sluggish. I'm still using the original 320gb 5400rpm disk.

Any idea's which ssd hdd would work ie the Samsung 840 Series and how i open up the laptop and install it.

    Many thanks in advance.

Used Samsung 830 in VGN-Z17GN about a year ago. Also upgraded to Win8 from Vista at the same time. Used the guides on this site to open up the laptop. If you take time and care you should be fine.

Make sure you backup everything first, including the recovery partitions in case you need the s/w.
