I did do a search on this model and didn't see it directly referenced in any threads. If I missed it, kindly point me in the correct direction :).

Best Buy is selling the VPCF115FM/B model:

    Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 (2.8GHz)
    Battery: 6-cell lithium-ion
    Display: High-definition widescreen (1920 x 1080)
    Screen Size: 16.4"
    RAM: 6GB, DDR3
Hard Drive: 500MB SATA (5400 rpm)
    Optical Drive: Double-layer DVD±RW/Blu-ray Disc/CD-RW
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M, 1GB

    Price: $1350

I was considering a Dell XPS Studio 16 (i5/i7) but when comparing to the Sony, I just like the design of the Sony a little better. Can anyone comment on the quality of this Sony laptop? It looks pretty high end, but I honestly don't know much about Sony's, as I've been following Dell's much closer.

Is this a good deal? Anything about this model to raise concern? Would appreciate any comments/insight.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the help. Didn't know this was the F model, as I wasn't clear how Sony named their models.

Found that thread -- it might take me a while to read through 473 pages. Is there a Cliff Notes version :)?
