Sony VPCF131FM cpu compatibility

Hey guys im back for more.. so i was wanting to know if any one new what cpus would be compatible with my laptop? right now there is a i5-460m in there,
I belive my notebook has a dedicated nvidia310 installed..

the reason im wanting a cpu upgrade is that im in school and well i find this cpu to be a little lagging.. so what cpus are compatible? are there any i7s that will work? well thanks for the info.. cpu-z says that my socket is socket 989 rPGA

thanks for any info.. I get my aid Friday and want to do this upgrade then..

p.s. memory and hard drive are going to be upgraded also so any input on those also will help!

 

For a CPU upgrade, any of these will work: (you have Socket G1)

For RAM, any of the DDR3 SO-DIMM units at 1066MHz or faster should work fine. As for harddrive, anything SATA II and 9.5mm... which is almost every notebook drive. Watch out for the super high capacity drives though, they can be 12.5MM tall and those usually won't fit in normal consumer notebooks.
