Looks like European Sony's driver support page has newer versions of the drivers.
European site (got it from another thread) vs US Site
Can I use european drivers with US version of Z? Should I wait until US support site updates its drivers? (will it even happen? ;)

There is no different in hardware, so you can use european drivers. I always looks for the lastest drivers in both EU site and US site.

    Sure there are hardware differences:
    - 3G (WWAN) differs between countries.
    - US models don't have a TPM module.
    - US models have a small Enter key instead of a larger Return key (not that that matters for software installation, though).

    Plus differences in software:
    - EU allows 802.11b/g to use channels 1-14, while US only allows 1-11. For 802.11a/n, the US allowed range has a large "hole" in the middle.

Using software from across the pond should mostly work, but beware that the default installer often detects which model you have, and will refuse to install on the "wrong" models.

    - 3G is the same card (Gobi 2000), so the driver is the same.
    - It's not like all EU models have TPM module
    - Keyboard layout has nothing to do with the driver
    - The Wifi channel doesn't matter. It's not software's problem, but firmware's problem. Still the driver is the same...

We do have. You just need to install the SmartWi for the GPS.
@midimaxi: I think the nearest model is VPCZ11Z9E. Don't search for the same model. You just need to know which driver/utility you want, then look at both sites for the lastest ones.
