    Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone's VPCZ1 experiences the computer freezing during windows updates. The updating part that requires you to restart with the %s and the "Do not turn off your computer" message. Usually my computer freezes sometime during this process and after waiting for a while, i reluctantly turn it off. However after the newest service pack from Windows i received my first BSOD and it just loops restart, update, freeze, and BSOD.
    Any input would be appreciated.
I am currently in safe mode :/

    Thanks

I kinda fixed the error by a system restore. Does anyone experience freezing during updates though?
The newest service pack does not agree with my vaio =(

nope, havent had that problem. Although I'm going to wait til MS releases it via Windows Update first... let all the early-adopters take the fall in case something dies. Cant afford downtime with midterms coming up!

yea, i'm not going to update until it becomes a "Critical update". It shows up on the Windows Update utililty but only as "important"
It is the Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for x64-based Systems (KB976932).
Midterm season...thank god its reading week.

I installed SP1 on my Z when it hit MSDN last week. No problems here.
