    Sony discontinued production of the line of laptops that mine originates from and no longer distributes the battery required to power it. According to a support representative, there is only one battery that is compatible with my laptop. They referred me to their third party parts distributor and, according to their website, they do not carry the battery either. How do I find this battery? My PC model number is VPCF13YX and the battery model number is VGP-BPS21A and the specs are 10.8 V/5000 mAh.
