    Hello Sony users.

I'm having trouble updating my Vaio's Nvidia Drivers (GT 230m)
No matter what I try to do I still cannot update from the last driver available from their official website (Which is now incredibly out of date.)

Everytime I try to download the latest versions 285.38 and then use the modded inf. file from laptopvideo2go the laptop boots up fine and even reaches the desktop but shortly BSOD's on me.

It simply will not allow me to update beyond the last "official" driver.

Sony have just left the hardware to grow out of date and as such I'm unable to load the likes of the latest games, eg. BF3, etc.

    Please advise.

I will make a modded INF for you. I did make one for someone with a CW2 and Nvidia GT 330M.

Download the Nvidia 285.38 beta 64-bit Notebook Vista/ Win 7 driver (You haven't told what OS you are using), extract it with 7-zip, and replace the "nvszc" INF from the attached zip file in the Display.Driver folder.

Uninstall the existing GPU driver before installing this driver. Run the setup to install the driver.

Do not steal somebody else's work and say that it is your work. Copying the modded INF from laptopvideo2go and changing the name in the modded INF to your name is called Plagiarism.

Thank you so much for the modded INF file! I was wondering for future updates what I would need to change in the INF to allow this to work again?

Are you guys using the latest BIOS? A simple bios upgrade would solve these issues, also use only the drivers supplied by Sony and not even Ati or Nvidia to aviod BSODs and random screen freezes and errors.
