I recentenly bought a Sony Vaio VPCF1 Laptop and I hear lately from time to time an irritating clicking sound (Probably the Hd Heads are Parking ????)
Sometimes it comes after 2 min and another time at a differend time
All Tools (Windows-7, HD Tune Pro, Windows 7 Logbooks) dont report any
problem what so ever, so it seems to be OK?

I wonder if there is a method to avoid this clicking problem
    Thans for any advice

Hi, could be just a noisy drive, or a very fragmented drive, how full is the drive? Might be a good time to back all your important files up just in case the drive is on it's last legs.

    To Triple77
The drive is 640 GB and only 80 GB in use (soo not very fragmented )
After one hour of usage the clicking sound disapeared, it comes back
after a new start of the laptop
(I already made a complete backup in case of any problems ,may come
    Thanks
