    Hi:
After looking high and low on this forum for a similar problem to mine I have no other choice but to ask a question. I bought a Sony Vaio E series model VPCEB11FX with Windows 7 premium 64 bit about a month ago from an OfficeMax store, the laptop has the new Intel chip i3, since the very first moment the computer started to act strange, windows would just freeze on start up, the mouse would do that too, this from a computer right out of the box!, I called the store and they gave me another computer and to my surprise the new one also did the same thing!. I find this very strange and would like the input from someone that might now what's the problem. I'm really disappointed with this computer I don't find it reliable. Thanks, JIM

You say it freezes on startup. Does it freeze and stay frozen? or is it frozen for a bit and then it continues to boot?

Does it ever boot up all the way and if so can you use it or does it continue to freeze?

Do you have anything odd plugged into it? (it's just kind of strange that you got two in a row is all)
