    Hi,
I recently bought a Sony EC Series Laptop with the I5 processor.
As soon as I set it up, I realised the touch pad works but the left click and right click buttons do not. I tried changing the settings, and found that the touch pad buttons work when set to auto scroll, but the click functionality does not. This showed that the touch pad hardware was fine, and I suspect it is a driver problem. Any idea if this would be the case? I checked for driver (Alps driver) updates on the Internet and Sony support, but found nothing.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ashwin
