Beside the new TZ, are they going to release other notebooks? maybe the new SZ and AR?

TSC1224, do you know when it's going to happen, exactly? Is it already confirmed?

I got it... Next Thursday, July 17th!!! I've waited too long for this laptop... I can't wait!!

BTW Asus U3 looks pretty good too

XPS M1330 vs Santa Rosa based SZ vs U3
The battle of 13 inchers... very tough to decide

If I could configure U3 with a faster processor(C2D T7100 or better ) I won't even put XPS M1330 in that mix. I think U3 looks a lot better than XPS M1330 and looks matters to people who wants a nice looking laptop like sony vaio sz.

It has integrated GPS, dedicated graphics that can be turned on or off via a switch, HDMI port(so does XPS M1330), eSata port, piano black outer finish and a leather finish on the palm rests(make it optional!!!!). Too bad it has no optical drive.... I wish it had a slot loading optical drive. I like watching movies on my laptop when I'm away from home but it will appeal to those who don't need or use an external optical drive. I think they didn't include the optical drive to keep the weight down. I wonder how much it weighs.....

Like I said before, it's gonna be a tough one..... What do you guys think?

Wow! We're close to know if this loooong waiting for the new SZ will finally come to an end. I hope I won't be disappointed...

Regarding Asus U3, despite it has a nice design and some cool features like the HDMI and eSata ports, an integrated GPS (coool) and the same video card switch (just like the SZ), I do not consider it as a "competitor" with the SZ and the XPS M1330...since it will come equipped with a low voltage Intel processor and with no optical drive.

    But, it's still an option.
