Does anybody have experience with exchanging a defective laptop for a new one? I received a FW CTO less than a week ago and used it for three partial days and then the hard drive started making a clicking noise and wouldn't boot Windows and now it won't boot the OS at all and won't even go into BIOS. I hope they don't give me a hassle since it has engraving. But then, according to the website, if a laptop is defective, whether it has engraving or not, I am entitled to a full refund or exchange.

    Thanks...

    Sounds like my old Medion...
    mechanical HDD failure...
When I had a problem with my battery on my SZ after about 2 weeks of usage it was no problem.
They offerred to have it sent by post, I aked for a service centre, and in Germany went to collogne.
I think you could get it repaired under warranty...
