    Sony Vaio F Series No backlit keyboard =(

    Hey guys,

    The Sony Vaio F series was released in sonystyle retail stores across Australia just yesterday, and i have noticed that it does not include a backlit keyboard. I was actually in the store today and was almost about to purchase one.. until i found out there was no backlit keyboard from the sales staff..... that was the deal breaker for me... i ended up walking out of the store empty handed.. quite disappointed...

    We have to pay way more than our US counterparts... ie. AU$3099 (US$2740) for the laptop ><... and we don't even get all the good stuff such as backlit keyboard... and our battery life for normal usage on this thing is 1 hr.. where as US peepz get 3hrs... this is totally unfair...;"(

    Same problem in New Zealad. The biggest pain is that you can not customise your order at all. I remember a Sony Style store I went into made a big deal about being able to buy extra ram.

    Well in my country I can't even buy one and in some other countries like Ethiopia many people don't have anything to eat. So world is far from been fair to everybody :)

    But if you want backlit keyboard you can try to buy F online. This topic will help with it:
