    Dear Members ,

First i wanted to say im glad to be back on this forum with you all fine members , its been a while since i posted on any thread since my Sony Vaio FE series hehe but here again i return for your professional advice :)

I'm planning to purchase a new laptop next week hopefully & i got 2 brands in mind that i love,

    1st. Sony Vaio F ( VPCF1190X ) Configured

    *
    Intel® Core™ i7-820QM processor (1.73GHz) with Turbo Boost up to 3.06GHz
    *
    Genuine Windows® 7 Ultimate 64-bit
    *
    Black
    *
    256GB (256GBx1) Solid State Drive
    *
    8GB (4GBx2) DDR3-SDRAM-1333
    *
    Blu-ray Disc™ player/burner
    *
    16.4" VAIO Premium Display (1920x1080) with NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 330M GPU (1GB VRAM)

    2nd. Macbook Pro 17"

    # 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    # 4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2X2GB
    # 500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
    # SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
    # MacBook Pro 17-inch Hi-Resolution Glossy Widescreen Display
    # None
    # Backlit Keyboard (English) / User's Guide

Now it is pretty obvious which got the better hardware spec's but the macbook pro got the OS X anyways i was thinkin' about waiting till they refresh the macbook pro with better specs at least worth buying.

So far im 100% convinced that i want the Sony Vaio F series , just i wanna know what you guys think about the configuration i chose for my gaming , browsing and HD editing needs.

P.S i dont know why that sonystyle removed the 512 GB SSD option completely from the configuration menu :(

    Thank you in advance.
