Hello, one year ago I bought a Vaio laptop, the model number is: VPCF1290X, after a few weeks it started making very high noise, which is really annoying, I contacted Sony via live chat, and they said just update the BIOS, so I did, but no result. I asked them to tell me where I can buy a new fan and replace it, but they didn't say anything. My question is would a new fan help to solve the problem and where I can buy one. Another thing is that 3 months ago it started overheating and every time it does that just shuts off, what is the best thing to do with such problem, thank you.

I've had mine a year and a half, and it remains my biggest complaint.
