Hi, I am trying to make recovery disks for my Vaio F12M1E through Vaio Care. If I insert the first disk it says at 100% that it cannot create a recovery disk because it does not match the writing speed. I used the same disks a while ago to reset my computer and they worked at that time. I use Sony DVD+RW 1x-4x compatible DVDs. I tried using the same recovery disks I made back then, but they don't seem to work anymore.
I used this guide: Vaio F Series Clean Install Guide - F11 F12 F13 by Joe Bleau
Is there any way I can match the writing speed so that I could use these disks?

Maybe your ODD is broken, because that's what happened to me. I have my F12 for 2 years now. Since then i created many disks...but some day the drive didn't work anymore. It couldn't read/write any DVD but it could read/write Cds.
So i contacted the customer support. They exchanged the ODD and since then everything works fine. (Before i had the Tsstcorp lb23a drive, now i have the Pioneer bdc-td03)
