    Hi folks,
I've had a long evening looking at various laptops to order on friday. It looks like I'm going to go with my first choice, a Sony Vaio FE.
I'm not sure if its processor is upgradable to a Memrom CPU when they're released. Does anyone have any info about that?

Also, if anyone has a notebook from this series, what are your thoughts on it?

Dont know about your upgrading question. However Ive been using my FE 690 for 2 weeks now and I am very satisfied. Very high quality, nothing to do with my old Dell 600m. The screen is beautiful. I recommend to do a semi-restore to get rid of all the bloatware. My only complaint is the sound, its a bit too low. I dont have any regrets with my purchase, you can't go wrong with this beatiful notebook!
