    Hi,

I have a sony vaio fe21m machine. i had to change my cd/dvd drive an year ago coz that one stoped reading. Now i have installed a TSST corp CDDVDW TS-L632H drive.

Now i am unable to boot using this cd drive. i have changes the boot devise setting to start from Internal Optical Drive. Still its not letting me boot from the drive. Tried ubuntu and xp original bootable dics. Nothing works.

The drive works fine once the current OS(XP) is loaded. I need to do a clean install and my laptop doesn't support USB Booting.

    Help Me Please...
