    Hi im planning on buying the Sony VGNFS28GP. This is the Australian model of the Sony FS series, the specs are as follows:

    * Microprocessor: Intel® Centrino™ Mobile Technology, Intel® Pentium® M Processor 760 (2.0GHz)
    * Processor System Bus: 533MHz
    * Cache: 64 KB/2 MB (on CPU)
    * Main Memory: 512MB DDR-SDRAM (2 SO-DIMM slots, one occupied) (partially shared with video memory)
    * Hard Drive: 80GB (C:15GB, D:65GB) Ultra ATA/100
    * Wireless LAN: IEEE802.11b/g
    * Optical Drive -: Reading Speed: DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-ROM: 8x / DVD+RW, DVD-RW, DVD+R DL (Double Layer): 4x / CD-RW: 20x / CD-R, CD-ROM: 24x
    * Optical Drive -: Writing Speed: DVD-R, DVD+R: 4x / DVD+RW, DVD-RW: 4x / DVD+ R DL (Double Layer): 4x / CD-R: 24x / CD-RW: 10x
    * Graphic Accelerator: NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 6200 with Turbocache™
    * Video Memory: 128MB*
    * Display: 15.4" WXGA (1280 x 800) TFT colour display (Clear Bright LCD)

    In Australia, they only seem to be giving us 512 ram and a 80gb hdd. Im new to the notebook scene, and ive figured that i can upgrade the ram (wondering if this would work) and i think we can change the hard drives (confirm please~)

    Just wondering what kind of performance this machine produces when u run games. I doubt that the gfx card has much power, im not expecting a lot, but does it run say World of warcraft, or battlefield 2?

    Of course you'll be able to upgrade the ram or hard drive. It shouldn't be too hard. That videocard isn't the greatest, but will run smoothly the games you listed.
