This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Sony Vaio FW GPU Update

    Does anybody know if and when the Vaio FW is going to get a GPU update? Say going from the ATI 3650 to maybe the 4650? I'm on the fence waiting for that to happen. I don't want to purchase one with the 3650 and then next week a better GPU is added. This is my first post and happy to be part of this cool community. :)

    Sony is very slow in updating GPU's. So you can buy with confidence.
    But they discontinue laptop models with the release of newer intel processors.
