Dreamscene on Vista Ultimate 32bit doesnt work on my FW11ZU.

Has anyone else got it working on theirs? I don't really need it, I just wanted to try it out to see for myself what it looks like.

I can select a Dreamscene wallpaper from the background manager, but then Windows just appears to freeze up. I have to use task manager to kill explorer.exe, and restart it and change to a picture wallpaper.

    I don't ever get a running DreamScene!

It works on my FW11M with Vista Ultimate 64-bit, have you tried updating the ATI driver?

Aaah! No I hadn't! I still have the factory installed driver.

I may use the ATI modder tool and get the latest driver installed on the Vaio. Thanks for the suggestion.

Regarding DreamScene being an utter waste of CPU power - I'm in agreement! I doubt I will be leaving it on, but I just wanted to see it in action, as I have never seen it running for real as I've only had Vista Home Premium until now.
