Mouse pointer is repeatedly freezing every 20-30 minutes of use. At first I thought it was Zone Alarm but switched to McaFee; same issue. Everything drivers etc. up to date and have scanned for viruses and ran registry repair. The pc does not totally lock up. I can press power button and go into Sleep Mode then press again to come out of it and mouse works again for a short time

This begs a couple of questions.

    1. How long has this been happening?
    2. What have you recently tweaked or installed, if anything?
    3. Do you have a restore point earlier than the start of this problem?
