    Hi all,

I'm having a weird problem with a vaio laptop. It powers on fine, shows logo and boot BIOS, BIOS recognize HDD and DVD, but won't get pass that. When i turn on, doesn't matter what i try to boot (HDD, DVD, USB), it shows vaio logo and then goes blank, no blinking cursor, nothing, and doesn't boot anything..

    Can you help?

    TIA.

Try pressing F12 before boot to see the list of available boot devices. Is your hard drive listed, your DVD drive listed? try selecting them and see if it boots from the boot list. Also in your bios do you have network boot enabled? What is the boot order in the BIOS? Try booting from a win 7 DVD or bootable win 7 usb stick.
