    FS series owners,

What do you think about the battery life of this model? I have VAIO FS-675P/H. I like everything, but the battery life totally sucks!!. Does this just happen with my notebook as well? Should I call sony and get replacement claimed that the battery is defective?

Centrino is supposed to be last longer. Mine: I do regular web browsing, lowest brightness, and the battery only last about 2 hours. Is this normal or this is problem with this battery in my notebook only?

Anyone knows where to buy battery for this model that can last like 3-4hrs?

I think your VAIO FS' battery life is normal. I found a lot of complaints on the Internet about FS battery life. It seem that FS series has least battery life comparing to other series.

    EDIT: Spelling

yes. this is normal for 2 hrs. it depends on how you use your laptop.
on September i was back to China . at the beginning i was worrying the battery life.
then after this trip, this is not a problem. why ?
when i was waiting at Vancouver airport. 2hrs time is just good to watch 1 movie .
then in the airplane, there is power plug at the backside of front seat.
then in the hotel, sony power adapter is universal . not a problem to plug to the wall.

after this trip, i think i dont need to buy extra battery.
but the downside is if the departure time was delay, in vancouver airport, there are ground power plug you can use. but in Peking airport, no ground power plug can be found. then if this is delayed more than 2 hours , you don't have dvd to watch.

Yeah, I've keep hearing nothing but poor battery life from the FS series, I think its partially due to its extremely bright screen.
