    Hi,

I started using my laptop this morning and tried accessing my documents and using windows live messenger, however, as soon as they loaded up they froze. I tried accessing everything such as antivirus (bit defender internet security),wmp etc. they all load up but freeze when im about to use it. So I thought let me restart my computer, but i stumbled onto another problem, it stays on logging off mode for a long time without restarting my laptop. So I manually turned it off by holding the shutdown button for 5 seconds. I switched it back on and no luck the applications were still freezing but i noticed that only the internet softwares were working like mozilla firefox and internet explorer.

So i went into system restore to restore it to a earlier date but it wont load, I tried safe mode however that gets stuck on a black screen saying "safe mode" in each of the corner of the screen and will not load to safe mode.

I dont know what to do because i forgot to make my recovery discs.

Plz Help!! any suggestions will be appreciated.
