    Hey guys, I'm a Toughbook guy lurking on the Vaio forum for a reason. Sorry if I'm not welcome here :p

    Ya know when you turn a Vaio laptop on? Well that sound that comes out (the little short jingle). Yeah, well I wanna some how download that noise so I can set it as my email notification on my Crackberry...

    Any ideas from the Sony guys here?

    P.S, I did tons of searching on Google and found NOTHING...

    Some do and some don't... I work at a tech shop and have seen thousands of Sonys come by... Some do and some don't. Also if your sound is muted when you turn it off it won't make that noise when you turn it back on. Mac's are the same way...

    If you work with so many Vaios that do it, why don't you just record one of them?

    It is what you are asking that someone else do.

    Nah, its a little song that some Vaios play when you first turn them on. It's prior to windows.
