I have a Sony Vaio N130G that has the original drivers for the wireless card.

Is there a way to get something like PROset/Wireless software to work on my model?

Or anything that helps get a better signal than the standard software/drivers?

    Thanks

As was mentioned in your other post you are using intel drivers. Sony probably has just modified things in terms of presentation.

I would suggest that you go to your device manager in your control panel and unistall your wifi card. Download the software first then install the pro wireless software from the Intel site and see if that works.

Thank you for your help. Its appreciated.
Yeah I created another thread because I was asking the question in a way that was difficult to understand... which was part of my problem. I was thinking there was more to it than there actually was.

I needed to go straight to Intel and get the driver for the card in my PC.

    Voila! It works great.
