I've been thinking of buying a Sony laptop for my gf and, while researching which one to get etc. I've found two Sony Vaio NRs that cost exactly the same, but one is (apparently) much better than the other one:

    The Sony Vaio NR21Z/S has 3 Gb, a T8100 Core2Duo Centrino processor and a 250 Gb HD.

The Sony VAio NR32Z/S has 3 Gb, a T5550 Core2Duo Centrino processor and 200 Gb HD.

    Both are £649 on sonystyle.co.uk...

My guess is that the NR32 has something new/improved compared to the NR21 but I have checked all the specifications and couldn't find it.

Does anyone have any clue on what is that? Should I get the NR21?

    Thanks!

Are you sure that other than what youve listed they are EXACTLY the same?

They look exactly the same, the only difference is that on the NR21 they specify that the battery life is 3 hrs. And the NR32 has less L2 Cache memory than the NR21 making it even worse!

There must be something else on the NR32 that makes it better (and thus more expensive) in Sony's eyes. What is it? well, I can only guess... or ask in here :D

In the Netherlands we have a saying that goes something like "don't ask how it's possible, just profit from it".
