I just upgraded from 512MB to 1GB. The problem I'm having is that windows XP only sees 448MB of RAM (512 total 64MB of video and 448 of RAM). I have 2 modules of 512MB each installed for a total of 1GB. I swapped the old ones to make sure the slots are reading the modules and they are. I even put each 512 one at a time to double check. My question is: how can I get windows XP or this laptop's Bios to show the correct RAM installed?
