    Here's the dilemma I am hoping you can help me with.

    I love the Sony Vaio Pro 11 (non-touch screen), but it only has 4GB or RAM and I would prefer at least 8GB.

    i7 would also be a preference over i5.

    256GB SSD would be better than 128GB SSD.

    And, a more serious issue is the lack of Ethernet port. This is a big deal as while the Ethernet to WiFi adapter is bundled with the computer it is an extra thing to carry on trips, and I have no idea how well such a thing would work in some places, and I would prefer LAN for security reasons.

    Problem is I have only found the SVP 11 non-touch screen in Thailand. In HK and Singapore they only sell the touch screen version.

    Does anyone know if I can get a SVP 11 non-touch with i7 and more than 4GB or RAM?

    Or, what laptop do you think would address all the issues above?
