    hi, thanks for notebook review and graceful vaio s ips mod poster those who not give up on modding, make wonderful image on ips screen.

    I was the follower of the post, did almost every thing in the post, expect bought both lp133wd sb1 and sb2, to fight with the problem with no image shows on the boot up screen, and one other really hurts it's brightness stay the same regardless how I change the setting, through hotkey, or windowns setting.
    If any body knows the fix, or any suggest would be much appreciate.

    my s13 is svs13a190x, le graphic. i am running a windows 7 reinstall.
    should i heard of people using the assist key to fix the bios problem, i wondering should flash a recovery for my laptop just to get in to the assit? or any thing i did worong not setting the dip setting correctly?

    Regarding the brightness adjustment, make sure the cable is completely connected. If it is done correct, you can adjust brightness without a problem.

    Regarding BIOS, have you tried pressing the assist button when the laptop is off?

    thank you for quick help, but it seems quite strange I try to connect the cable as tight as possible for many times, somehow still does not work, even opens up the cable for screen end, doesn't see a visible loose, any other problem mine involve ? :confused: will the newly bios update seems a reasonable factor for not corporate new lcd well enough? maybe i need to buy a new cable to see. :
    BIos problem maybe relate to the cable , i did press assist when laptop is off, but no luck.
