    Hi,

long time reader, first time poster :)
After swapping the standard HDD on my SVS13A1C5E for an SDD, I'm running out of space.
Therefore, I'd like to replace the ODD (which I don't use anyway) with a second HDD. I've already got the HDD caddy and the HDD itself, but I'm struggling to 'open up' the laptop.

Following a YouTube guide for an S15, I've almost managed to remove the keyboard (09:19 in the video), but it is somehow still connected to the bottom part via the bits that control the 'upper buttons' (eject button, stamina/speed select button, capslock/numlock/screenlock button, fingerprintscanner, power button,... -> image), which is a feature not present in the S15 disassembly. When I try to separate it, it really bends through and I'm afraid to advance because I feel it might snap...

I've read on several instances that the S13 is much harder to disassemble than the S15 but nowhere did I find specific instructions :p
Is there someone here who might guide me in the right direction?

I found the latch, but there is still some problem :p
issues holding back the disassembly (see red arrows on picture):
    - the headphone jack (left red arrow)
    - it looks like there are two small screws holding down the keyboard at the display end. I removed 4 screws (two on either side), do I need to remove the two screws beneath the display as well?

You need to lower the screen as much as it allows ( no force) Then vertically push the keyboard towards north-east and then it will easily slide out from the audio jack.

When i disassembled i didn't have to remove any screws from the keyboard itself as i found it too complicated with the weird wires.

Did you manage to work it out? Trying the same myself, and I've got the exact same problem.

Can someone tell me where the BIOS Flash IC is sitting? I want to figure out what type of package it is. The original flash is from MX and the code is MX25L6405D. Could someone make a photo or say if this IC have pins. The one package without the pins is the 8-WSON package.
