    Hi All,

I have a Sony Vaio SVS15 that I'm looking to replace the keyboard on. I believe in the S15's the keyboard is part of an entire top-case (touchpad, palmrest, everything). Does anyone know what the part number for the black-color one is? Or where I can get it? I tried to search on eBay but cannot find anything.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, the keyboard is and independent part and I've only found them on spare parts sites like Keyboard Sony Svs 15 Series Parts on silver color.

Thanks for the information. I looked at the guide posted here on how to swap out the optical DVD drive for a 2nd HDD bay and the video showed that the top case (keyboard, touchpad, and palmrests) are all one piece.

Guess I'll just get a keyboard cover. I have no reason to replace the keyboard now (everything works now), but just curious for the future if I need to replace.
